While describing RFID attendance system or attendance system using RFID, first thing that comes into mind is what does RFID mean? RFID is Radio Frequency Identification which uses radio frequency electromagnetic field to move information with the intention of recognition and tracking. Attendance system using RFID is primarily an embedded system that comprises microcontroller, hardware and software. Microcontroller, which is controlled by software, plays a remarkable role in RFID attendance system.
In any RFID attendance system, RFID contains two main sections namely RFID tag (simple antenna bind to silicon chip) that identifies unique identification number and RFID reader that reads the RFID tag.
