BioEnable’s Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) is a highly advanced biometric identification solution designed to capture, store, and match fingerprints with unmatched accuracy and speed. AFIS is widely adopted by law enforcement, civil agencies, and national ID programs for efficient identity verification, criminal investigations, and background checks. With AI-enhanced matching algorithms and scalable architecture, our AFIS ensures reliable identification in high-volume environments.
High-Speed Fingerprint Matching: Performs 1:N and 1:1 matching with high accuracy and fast response times.
Scalable Architecture: Easily scalable from small deployments to nationwide ID programs.
Multi-modal Support: Can be integrated with iris, facial recognition, and demographic data for multimodal identification.
Standards Compliant: Adheres to international standards such as ISO/IEC 19794 and ANSI/NIST ITL.
Fraud Detection Capabilities: Identifies duplicate or fraudulent identities using sophisticated de-duplication engines.
Law Enforcement Agencies: For criminal identification, background checks, and forensics.
Government & National ID Programs: Citizen enrollment, voter registration, and social security systems.
Border Security: Identity checks and watchlist verification at ports of entry.
Banking & Finance: Know Your Customer (KYC) and fraud prevention.
Healthcare & Insurance: Patient identification and record management.
BioEnable’s AFIS is built to integrate seamlessly with third-party systems and existing IT infrastructure. The system supports RESTful APIs, SDKs, and middleware for rapid deployment in both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
Our solution also allows real-time biometric data exchange between multiple government and law enforcement databases, ensuring cross-agency coordination and effective monitoring.

Customizable UI/UX: Tailored interfaces for police, civil, and enterprise use.
Multilingual Support: Interface and reporting tools available in multiple languages.
Audit & Reporting: Comprehensive audit logs and real-time performance dashboards.
Cost-Effective: Optimized for low maintenance and long-term operational savings.
Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) is a information technology system for reading, matching, searching and storing fingerprints, hand palm prints, latent prints and other demographic data. It has the necessary hardware and software to acquire, process, store, digitize and retrieve fingerprint and palm print images from ten print cards, latent print cards, and live image scans.
The Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) compares these prints and identifies possible matches based on minutiae data, bifurcations and related demographic data. This processing of the prints are for the purpose of establishing identification and creating an individual’s criminal history . This system serves as the central repository for identification records relating to persons arrested throughout the country.
