At BioEnable Technologies, we are committed to providing high quality biometric and IoT solutions. Our warranty policies are designed to ensure your hardware and software operate reliably and that you receive prompt support when needed.
BioEnable provides a standard limited warranty for its hardware products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Biometric Scanners & Access Controllers: Most flagship products, including STQC certified fingerprint scanners (Single, Slap) and Iris scanners, come with a 1 year standard warranty.
Time Attendance & Access Control Systems: Integrated face, finger, and card reader systems typically carry a 1 year warranty.
Other IoT & Smart Devices: Standard 1 year warranty unless specified otherwise at the time of purchase.
Accessories: Power adapters, cables and external batteries are covered under a 6-month limited warranty.
Customers can opt for added protection beyond the standard warranty period:
Extended Warranty: Can be purchased at the time of equipment sale or before the expiry of the original warranty.
Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC): BioEnable offers comprehensive and non-comprehensive AMC plans for enterprise clients. This includes regular health checks, remote support and hardware repair services.
The warranty becomes void or does not apply in the following circumstances:
Physical Damage: Cracks, broken prisms, or casing damage caused by drops or accidents.
Unauthorized Tampering: If the warranty seal is broken or the device has been opened/repaired by non-authorized personnel.
Environmental Damage: Damage caused by liquid ingress, fire, lightning, or power surges.
Consumables: Wear and tear of components such as cleaning kits or protective films.
Software Misuse: Issues arising from the use of incompatible third party software or unauthorized modifications to the firmware.
Order Cancellation: Requests for cancellation are accepted within 24 hours of placing an order, provided the item has not been dispatched.
Dead on Arrival (DOA): If a product is received in a damaged or non-functional state, it must be reported to our support team within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or refund.
Incorrect Product: If you receive a product different from your order please notify us within 7 days. We will arrange for the correct item to be shipped at no additional cost.
RD Service: For Aadhaar certified devices the RD service is a software subscription. Warranty on hardware does not include the cost of RD service renewals after the initial bundled period (if any) expires.
SDK Support: BioEnable provides a Free Software Development Kit (SDK) with its scanners. While we warrant that the software is free from malicious code, it is provided "As-Is" regarding specific application compatibility.
To initiate a warranty claim or repair:
Contact Support: Email support@bioenabletech.com or call our support lines with your serial number and invoice.
RMA Generation: Our team will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Shipping: The customer is responsible for shipping the device to our Pune Service Center. BioEnable will cover the return shipping costs for valid warranty repairs.
