Mifare smart cards are the read/write memory cards. Mifare smart cards are contactless and were first used in public transports. Although Mifare smart cards have a very small range, it is suitable for payments and other fund transactions and can also perform increment/decrement functions when used at public transportations.

Mifare smart cards are very much easier and faster to use. Moreover, Mifare smart cards have much less maintenance and repair costs as there is no such load on the readers. In most Mifare smart cards cases, there is no requirement of cards and only the readers produce a paper against the input that is made manually.
