Almost every organization nowadays relies on biometric security. One of the biggest benefits of using biometric security measures in organization is that the biometric authentication is always accurate and almost foolproof. Biometric security measures require biometric readers such as fingerprint or retina scanners.
In order to use biometric security devices efficiently, the biometric attributes of each employee in an organization must be registered (enrolled) with the device by storing the information in the database. When an employee swaps a finger or attempts for a retina scan, the captured image of the biometric attributes is matched with the one that is stored in the database. If the images are not matched, the biometric device does not allow the employee to access the classified information, hence proving the efficiency of the implemented biometric security in the organization.
