GP90A is an extended range proximity reader featuring read range of up to 90 cm with Standard clampshell cards and extended range of upto 1.3meters with Special Tags available from chipsilicon . The unit comes with specially designed external power supply and other form factors make it particularly suited to access control, car parking and through-wall reading applications.

GP90 At Work:

GP90 used for Railways Here the GP 90 reader is laid on the Railway track and and the tags are attached on to the individual train . When the train passes the Reader its ID is collected and sent to Back -End Computer for further processing. ...............................................

GP90 used for Tracking Goods on Supply chain . Here the GP90 Reader is mounted at the Top and the tags are attached to each package . When the individual package passes by the GP90 reader its ID is collected and sent to the Back-End Computer for further processing . ..............................................

GP90A can be used to totally automate Parking Lot Access Control. The reader has a range of around 1m. This helps in mounting the reader quite far from the entrance to the parking lot. There are 2 ways in which this system can work.

1.In the first case the RFID card kept with the vehicle driver and when ever the vehicle approaches the parking lot the driver flashes the card in front of the reader. The reader reads the card, checks its authenticity and then it fires the relay for opening the boom barrier at the entrance.

2.In the second case the RFID tag is stuck to the windscreen of the vehicle. When the vehicle comes in range of the reader, the reader reads the card ID and authenticates the same. If ID is authenticated the relay for moving the boom barrier is fired and access to the parking lot is enabled.

In this way there is no need for any guard to be monitoring the exit and entry of vehicles to the parking lot. The vehicles will be logged automatically and a total report of the usage of the parking lot can be generated.
